RefChat is developed in France. In local mode, all your documents and conversations stay on your machine — nothing travels over the Internet. In cloud mode, indexing runs on our OVHcloud servers (France) and the included AI relies on Mistral AI, a French company whose models are hosted in the European Union. In every case, your data stays in France / the EU and is processed in accordance with the GDPR; none of it is used to train models.
